Here is a list of awards, special prizes and current scholarships available to students enrolled in one of the programs offered in the School of Media and Design. Please check with the program co-ordinator for specific information about each award.

Rogers Broadcasting Summer Internship Awarded to a graduate with high academic standing
Rogers Broadcasting Provides full 2nd year tuition to a student with a high grade point average and ability to succeed in broadcasting.
CHUM Group Radio paid Internship Awarded to student with best audition package in final semester
 
Broadcasting – Television

  Producer of the Year -  North Channel Productions Awarded for ability to oversee all aspects of a production
Director of the Year
CTV Endowment Fund
Presented for ability to create well-paced stylistic program in a variety of categories
Technical Director of the Year -
CTV Endownment Fund
Awarded for proficiency in all aspects of technical procedures and production
DOP – Precision Transfer Technologies Presented to a student who demonstrates an understanding of how to achieve a cinematic look on video and an ability to direct.
Editor of the Year – Affinity Productions Awarded for an understanding of linear and non-linear editing systems and a good understanding of editing techniques
Student of the Year – Rogers Television Presented for a professional attitude, good work ethic and a willingness to help others
On Camera talent of the Year – Rogers Bursary and Scholarship Fund Awarded for the ability to appear relaxed on camera and to communicate clearly with other performers and the audience.
Graphic Animation Artist of the Year – Headline Sports Endowment Fund The successful recipient has clearly demonstrated proficiency in the use of motion graphics software.
Audio and audio-post engineer of the Year – Rogers Bursary and Scholarship Awarded for a thorough understanding of sound generating elements as well as proficiency in the use of sound control equipment.

Marc Robillard Memorial Award (Interior Design Faculty) Awarded to a 1st year student who has most improved in academic standing.
Global Group Awards Presented to two 2nd year students who have achieved high academic standing
Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario Book Prizes Two awards in recognition of the 1st and 2nd year students who achieved high academic standing
Advanced Business Interiors (ABI) Interior Design Industry Award Awarded to a 2nd year student with high academic standing and peer recognition
