Lyn Whyte

Lyn Whyte (AIFD, CAFA, CAFD) is the coordinator and instructor in the Florist Program at Algonquin College. Lyn was inducted into the prestigious American Institute of Floral Design in 1992 and is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Floral Art. She has successfully completed the national accreditation examinations with Flowers Canada and is a Canadian Accredited Floral Designer. She is also designated an FTD Master Designer and an FTD Florist Manager. Lyn is an advocate of education and high standards within the floral industry. Lyn is the recipient of the Student Award in Excellence in Teaching in 2008-2009.
