Canadian Forces Corporate Training

Algonquin College is the largest training centre in the Nation's Capital and Ottawa Valley, with more than 1.6 million square feet of facilities in Ottawa, Pembroke and Perth.    Algonquin offers more than 176 full-time programs including Graduate Certificates, Diplomas, Apprenticeships, Joint Degrees and Bachelor Degree programs touching almost every sector of the economy.  There are more than 150 part-time programs available - many via eLearning.

Algonquin is proud of its history of partnering with the Canadian Forces in delivering high-quality, flexible training to increase CF production and operational capacity while expanding occupation capabilities, and reducing the training delta.  We are highly responsive to CF training needs:  class-room and applied hands-on education and training, hybrid, eLearning that can incorporate simulation (creating a Virtual Campus and just-in-time learning).  We offer flexible and adaptable content, flexibility in numbers and sequencing of training implementation, and accelerated delivery options.

Canadian Forces and Algonquin College Collaborate to Expand Organizational Capacity

Algonquin College, a recognized leader in the field of Geospatial and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS training, was approached by the Canadian Forces Support Training Group (CFSTG) to explore the feasibility of developing and delivering a program to satisfy the training requirements exclusively for Canadian Forces (CF) Geomatics Technicians. The goal was to increase the number of CF graduates produced by the School of Military Mapping (SMM).  Learn more about this partnership initiative.
