Accessible Parking

Visitors

Visitors holding an Accessible Parking Permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation can park in any accessible spot in our Park, Pay & Go lots (Lots 1,3,4,5,8,P,C, ACCE) for a max of $12 per day during weekdays and $6 on evenings and weekends. In order to park at these rates, Visitor’s must enter a code which will be displayed at each machine and must display their Ontario Provincial Permit on their dash face up. You must pay to park on campus using Park, Pay & Go machines or through the Honk Mobile app. A parking map including accessible space can be found here.

Permit Holder

If you are a member of the Algonquin College community, you can purchase a parking permit. If you have an Accessible Parking Permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation and you are a parking permit holder, you can park in any accessible space on campus. Please note that your licence plate must be registered with Parking Services and your Ministry of Transportation accessible permit must be face up on the dash. Temporary Accessible Parking

Please note you will not be able to park in an accessible spot without an Ontario Provincial Accessible Permit. Employees who are parking permit holders and have special needs for a definite period of time can contact HR for special accommodation. If granted, Parking Services will find space in a closer parking lot. Students who are parking permit holders and have special needs for a definite period of time can contact the Centre for Accessible Learning for special accommodation. If granted, Parking Services will find space in a closer parking lot.
