Algonquin College’s Corporate Training Department works collaboratively with industry and community leaders to assess industry training needs, and develop programs that address these training gaps.

Our Corporate Training staff stay on top of the training needs of our community through active participation in several committees including the Ottawa Valley Economic Development Group, the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Lanark-Renfrew Labour Market Working Group.
The College also has several Advisory Committees which provide feedback on the curriculum offered in our full-time programs. This “just in time” feedback from employers provides our staff with guidance and critical information about the training needs of our local labour force.
Through our involvement in many community and business initiatives, we are in a strong position to provide training to a variety of sectors, including:
