“Thank you for embracing our son into the Waterfront Campus Pembroke family. He has graduated and we are glad to have him home with us. It’s been a few days now and we still can’t believe he’s home. He came to you a 17 year old straight from high school and has grown up in so many ways. Thank you for the parent newsletter, thank you for the Twitter updates and the Facebook posts! Seeing pictures of the Forestry students in the forest was a small but mighty connection to him from home. Thanks again to all the staff and support staff who made his year memorable. We would recommend Algonquin College in Pembroke to any friend or family.”

“Our experience with Algonquin Waterfront Campus has been by far the most organized, informative, welcoming and pleasant! As parents we want to let our children fly and take responsibility at this stage in their life. The approach that all of you at the Waterfront Campus take and all the effort you put in creates the perfect balance for the student to be completely informed and involved in this big step and all the choices that need to be made in program selection and all other aspects. At the same time it allows us as parents to be informed and involved without taking over and being overbearing.

Thank you for what you have all created there. We look forward to moving our daughter to Pembroke and watching her pursue her path at Algonquin and beyond.”

-Martina and Ian Christensen

An excellent all in one place guide. As a grandmother having her only grandson go so far away from home, your parents newsletter serves as an invaluable resource by giving me confidence that I can provide competent support wherever he may need it.

“We attended a campus tour and I just wanted to pass along our positive feedback. The staff tour guide was excellent at presenting the information in an informative, friendly manner – answered all of our questions fully, and we also were able to meet the coordinator of the program too, who was also most helpful and encouraging. Our son is looking forward to attending the college. Keep up the good work. The campus is so bright and clean too!”
