Letter of Intent, Resume & Reference Online Submission

If you wish, the letter of intent, resume and reference can also be typed and submitted separately, as per the directions in the Applicant’s Handbook. The online form is the preferable means of submission.

  • Qualifications:
    Detail your relevant experiences; specific skills, qualifications, and knowledge about the outdoor adventure industry.
  • Contribution:
    A statement outlining your interest in the program and how you think you can contribute to it.
  • Career Goals:
    Your expectations of how the Outdoor Adventure Diploma will further your career goals.
  • Additional Skills:
    Any additional special skills or knowledge unrelated to outdoor adventure which you think might be useful or beneficial to the program or to a future employer.

  • Education:
    Describe your high school (and post secondary) education; highlight any outdoor, environment, business or tourism courses; highlight any special achievements, leadership roles or awards.
  • Work Experience:
    Describe your work experience, including place of employment, role and duties, and dates employed.
  • Outdoor & Sports Experience:
    Describe your outdoor experience with different activities or trips; describe your sports background.
  • Leadership & Service:
    Describe any leadership roles you have had; describe any community or service projects you have participated in.
  • Notable Skills, Experience or Achievements:
    Describe any unique or notable skills, experience or achievements you have accumulated.
