Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley provides students with a unique and special learning environment.
The Pembroke Campus is the largest of Algonquin College’s satellite campuses, and Outdoor Adventure students learn in an atmosphere where staff and students are easily recognized, and first names are preferred. With approximately 800 full-time students throughout the year, the Pembroke Campus is a great place to learn the skills to enter the adventure tourism industry.
The Pembroke Campus is a vibrant learning organization. Students from as far away as Japan and Greenland have come to Pembroke to study in one of our 16 full-time programs. In the past several years, several new programs have been implemented, including a hands-on Computer Systems Technology program, an innovative laptop Business program, and our Outdoor Adventure programs which have been winning recognition from as far away as China and India.
