Our Facilities

In recent years, we have made several improvements to our campus, including a new student career employment centre where you can get assistance with your job search including resume preparation and assessment; a great student lounge. cafeteria, and patio area, to name a few of the upgrades.

Other great facilities on campus include:

  • An outdoor sports court where students can shoot some hoops, play ball hockey, or have a game of badminton.

  • A quiet study area and boardroom where students can prepare for a test, read a book, or work on their laptop computer.

  • The Landing, our student lounge where students spend time between classes or after school is over for the day.  Students can enjoy a hockey game or a movie on the big screen, spend some time chatting by the fireplace or play a game of pool.

  • A fully networked, high speed wireless internet environment.

  • A simulated nursing lab where our mannequins are so real, they talk and breathe, better preparing our students for their clinical experiences in hospitals and other health care environments.

  • A newly-renovated lecture hall that seats up to 80 students.

  • A brand new cafeteria and outdoor patio where you can enjoy great meals prepared by our chef and cafeteria staff, and during the nice weather, take in the sunshine while having your lunch outdoors.

Community Partnerships - Plus, we have a number of great community partnerships that support student learning.

For example, our Outdoor Adventure students spend two days each week at the Wilderness Tours Resort or Mount Pakenham where they receive hundreds of hours of practical skills training.  Our Forestry Technician students also learn in the outdoors and forest industry settings where they do about one third of their program through field work activities.

Our Health & Community studies programs also benefit from hands-on experiences in the community where they participate in field work experiences in hospitals, long-term care facilities, early childhood and elementary school settings, and social work agencies.  In addition, our Police Foundations students train at Dundonald Hall at nearby Canadian Forces Base Petawawa, an Olympic-size recreational facility.

For a tour of our facility, we recommend that you call ahead to make a personal appointment with:
