Health Services Nurse

Laurie Ann Klawitter is a Registered Nurse in Health Services and is on campus daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

Laurie Ann is a very caring person who will contribute to your entire well-being. She can provide you with a list of doctors in the area who are accepting patients.

Health Services offer the following:

• First aid treatment
• Free condoms
• Emergency treatment for accidents
• Treatment for chronic or acute illness: headache, flu, cold, etc.
• Birth control information
• Birth control pills-$7.00 per package with a prescription
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B and other diseases (clinics)
• TB testing
• Health assistance for students with special needs
• Nutrition counselling
• Referrals
• Pamphlets on a wide variety of health problems
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Smoking cessation support and counselling

A Sexual Health Clinic is available on Wednesdays between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. located in Laurie Ann's office (Room 110 D). It is also available to the public.
