Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (room 335) will become an important part of your learning.  The helpful staff and a wealth of research materials, technological assistance, texts, periodicals, CD-Roms, computers and reference books, will assist you with your studies.

Your Student Identification Card serves as the library card and enables you to borrow books and other resource materials.

A new system has been added to the LRC which permits students to search for materials with greater ease. It also provides links to MANY other libraries at different institutions, and inter-library loans are available. Please see the staff for more information.

A photocopier is available in the Learning Resource Centre. The cost is $0.10 per page with the Student ID card or $0.15 without the card. A photocopier is also available in the 3rd floor hallway for student use but an ID card is required to use it. A photocopier is also available in the SA office room 117. Photocopies are $0.10 each and are provided as a service by the SA.

Laser printing, in accordance with the IT Agreement, is also available in the Centre.

An audio/visual area is available for the viewing of videos. Please contact the Resource Centre staff to make arrangements.
