6.6 Assisting learners in the use of technology as a tool to support their learning

Online course delivery provides students with an alternative mode of learning from the traditional face-to-face classroom.

Students in the Bring Your Own Device Program (BYOD) requires students to use mobile devices to enhance their learning experience at Algonquin College. Formerly known as Mobile Learning, all students entering into a BYOD Program are expected to have and use a mobile computing device that meets or exceeds the recommended hardware requirements as designated by the program.

If you are scheduled to teach in a BYOD program this fall, please ensure to check out the Algonquin College Course Material Services website for more information on how to obtain your digital resources.
