The Print Media program is Eastern Ontario's only one year diploma program offering specialized training for the graphics industry. Instead of taking two years to complete diploma studies, students are able to earn their diploma in 45 weeks of study, a compressed format, delivering more hours per week.The program offers training on off-set presses, state of the art computers, imagesetters and CTP, screen printing, vinyl sign making, and colour proofing so students can learn both the creative and technical sides of the industry. The emphasis of the program is hands-on, focusing on the creation of digital artwork and the production processes leading to a final printed product.

Our slogan is, "Imagine It Create It Print It." because that is exactly what our students are doing. Industry support for the program is demonstrated by our multiple work placement opportunities, guest speakers, student awards, bursaries and scholarships, industry tours and through our collaboration with industry for the provision of equipment, supplies and materials. Students work individually to perform all production steps as well as in small groups to stress the importance of team-work. Valuable experience is gained by designing with the industry's best software to produce such items as business cards, program newsletters, brochures, calendars, menus, posters and small books as in-class projects and for real clients..
