Review Procedures

Upon the successful submission of the research ethics application, the Full REB or the Delegated Committee will evaluate the application for ethical acceptability and will render a decision whether the proposed research is

  1. acceptable as submitted;
  2. acceptable with minor modifications;
  3. unacceptable, major revisions are required; or
  4. required to undergo a full ethical review (if originally classed as delegated review).


You will be contacted via email with the REB decision/feedback, once your application is reviewed. Please refer to our Application Procedures regarding submission deadlines. If you are required to resubmit an application, please allow suitable time for review of the revised documents.
