Assessment Requirements

Program-wide Assessments

Some Highly Competitive Programs require all applicants to complete an assessment to determine their knowledge base and suitability for the program. For example, all applicants to the Practical Nursing Program are required to complete the AC-HPAT. If you are required to complete an assessment as part of your application, you will be sent an email by the Registrar’s Office to book your assessment with the Test Centre.

You will not be invited to write the AC-HPAT assessment until you have met or you are currently registered in all the program requirements. It is important that you complete the AC-HPAT assessment by February 15 for Fall 2024 in order to be included in the ranking for this program. All applicants who complete the AC-HPAT after February 15th will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis.
