General Bursaries

Charles Butler Bursary

Awarded to a full time student(s) in the Ottawa Valley who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and special consideration will be given to students in the Motive Power Technician Program and students who have a direct military connection, such as being a current or retired military member or someone who is a military spouse or dependent. Students must provide a letter briefly outlining the reasons he or she requires financial assistance.

Ed Ireland Pembroke Campus Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in any full-time program at the Pembroke Campus who can demonstrate financial need.

Girls Night Out Bursary

Awarded to a full time female student(s) in the Ottawa Valley who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have had a home address in Renfrew County or Pontiac Counties, prior to enrolling in a full-time program.

Renfrew County Industrial Training (R.C.I.T.I.) Committee Bursary*

Awarded to a full time student(s) at the Pembroke Campus who can demonstrate financial need.

Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 72 Pembroke Bursary*

Awarded to a full time student(s) at the Pembroke Campus who can demonstrate financial need.

Health and Community Studies Department

Alexandra Club of Pembroke Bursary

Awarded to a student(s) in the B.Sc.N. program who can demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Konstantin Siegmund Memorial Award*

Awarded to two student(s) in the B.Sc.N. program who can demonstrate financial need as well as kindness, care, and compassion when dealing with patients and their families in all circumstances.

Loretta Tario Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the B.Sc.N. program who can demonstrate financial need and clinical competencies in multiple clinical settings. The student(s) must be a true role model, display strong values, show passion, ethics and dedication, continually demonstrates a kind and caring manner to patients and their families, and be viewed by peers to be a contributing member of the team.

Margaret Proulx Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the Personal Support Worker or Practical Nursing program who can demonstrate financial need.

Pembroke Regional Hospital Auxiliary Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the Ottawa vally in the Practical Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree programs. The student must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

RadSafe Canada Ltd. Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the Radiation Safety program who can demonstrate financial need and who exemplifies the qualities valued by RadSafe including a positive attitude, a passion for the field of radiation safety, an aptitude for team building, and an eagerness to take initiative.

Ruth Grant Nursing Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the B.Sc.N. program in the Ottawa Valley who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate a caring heart, inquiring mind, and passion for nursing.

Sandra Hopper Memorial Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in any health care program in the Ottawa Valley including the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Practical Nursing or Personal Support Worker programs. The student(s) must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Business, Technology and Outdoor Training Department

CIBC Bursary

Awarded to a student(s) in the Business Administration-Finance and Office Administration-Executive programs who can demonstrate financial need.

Mabel Campbell-DeLaurier Memorial Bursary

Awarded to a student(s) in the Outdoor Adventure Naturalist program who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

NRTC Communications Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the Computer Systems Technician (CST) program who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Pembroke Lumber Kings Community Television Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) in the Outdoor Adventure and Outdoor Adventure Naturalist programs who can demonstrate financial need. The student(s) must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Scotiabank Bursary*

Awarded to a student(s) the Office Administration-Executive program who can demonstrate financial need.
