Where IT is AT

Advancing Learning, This is IT!
Thursday, May 21st 29th 2008, 1:00 pm, Session 10

The goal of this session is to introduce you to Assistive Technology and answer the following questions:

  • What is AT?
  • Who uses AT?
  • And what does AT do?

We’ll start by asking you: What do you know about AT?

Then we will explore the most common types of AT tools being used in an academic setting, what does each tool do and who uses it?

We will demonstrate 4 different kinds of tools:
