For most services, there is no direct cost to you if you have provincial health insurance.

For Ontario residents, you must present your most recent Health Card at each visit to pay for any medical service. There is no direct charge to obtain the card, but you must apply to an OHIP office. Forms are available at our office.

Students who live in other provinces should make sure they have a valid insurance number from their home province.

International Students require extra health insurance while in Canada. For information on International Student Health Insurance coverage, please visit Algonquin's International Education Center Room C429, Woodroffe Campus.
