The College's Health Services department on your campus provides professional, confidential medical services.

Physicians available by appointment from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday. (NOTE:Call ahead during summer hours to check physician availability.)

Registered Nurses provide assessment and treatment of minor illnesses or injury. No appointment necessary

   
  MEDICAL FORMS are required for some programs.  If you are required to submit forms for your programs, they will be provided to you in your acceptance package. Copies are available online.  Forms for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), collaborative program are not mailed out and must be downloaded.
   
  HEALTH SERVICES OFFERS:
  • Allergy injections
• Birth control information and prescriptions
• Blood tests (including confidential HIV Testing)
• Doctors Appointments at Woodroffe Campus
• Emergency treatment for accidents, illnesses
• Health Counseling (stress, exercise, smoking, drugs, alcohol)
• Emergency Contraceptive - plan B
• Nutrition Counseling
• Pamphlets available on a wide variety of Health topics
• Pap tests
• Sale of Nuvaring, Evra and certain birth control pills at reduced prices
• STI testing
• Treatment for acute illness: headaches, colds, etc...
• Vaccinations including Hepatitis B vaccine, tetanus shots, TB tests,
• Influenza vaccine
   
  In cooperation with the Counseling service and the Center for Students with Disabilities we offer help with almost any personal problems you may have while at the College.
