| Test Centre - Final Word |
Final Word We hope that you do well on your tests and that you are able to carry on with your studies as planned. While it may seem that we are trying to keep you out of your program, we are really providing information that should help both you and the College to make the best possible decision. Research and experience shows us that candidates with strong basic skills in areas such as language and mathematics have a much higher than average success rate in our programs. The test results will help you decide if you should spend some time upgrading your skills before undertaking full-time college studies. Similarly, the results will help the College decide if you stand a reasonable chance of surviving academically in the program you have chosen. If you are not accepted, don't give up. View this as a temporary setback, not as a final catastrophe. Use the information provided by the tests to set realistic and achievable goals for yourself. Be prepared to set some short or medium range academic goals for yourself. Do some upgrading. Choose an alternate program. Start as a part-time student. Reapply. Persist. For further information, please contact the Good luck!
