| Checking in to the Test Centre - Important Things to Note Be early! Seating people once a test session is in progress is extremely disruptive to people already seated. Latecomers will not be allowed into the examination room once a testing session has started. Even seemingly reasonable reasons such as mechanical problems, missing buses, etc. will not change that policy. An unknown building can be confusing, so give yourself plenty of time to find the room.
Registration for the morning testing session begins at 8:30am, afternoon test registration begins at 12:30pm.
You must show a valid and recent piece of picture identification. Only government issued documents such as drivers licenses, citizenship cards, passports, etc. will be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot present satisfactory proof of identity.
If the college sent you a letter inviting you to the test session, bring it with you. This gives us your student number and makes processing easier.
Writing the Tests
Writing a test can be a stressful experience. You should be at your best physically and emotionally if you expect to do well. If you are ill, tired, or stressed out, it may be to your advantage to reschedule your test. The Test Centre tests at least once a week all year long, so alternate dates are not hard to find.
Take your seat in the testing room when you are called. Place any books, briefcases, papers, etc. on the floor under your desk or chair. Nothing except the material supplied for you by the Test Centre is permitted to be on the desk during a test. Food and beverages are not allowed in the testing room.
Pay close attention to all instructions, examples, and comments made by the test administrator. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of what you are going to be doing for each test. Pay close attention to instructions detailing the number of questions and the time limits for each test. Do not be afraid or embarrassed to ask questions if something is not clear.
Write the test, giving each question some attention. Each question is worth one point. If you have time left before the timer rings, check your work. All tests have time limits which are adequate but not generous.
As soon as time is called, close your booklet, sit back and wait for further instructions.
Note:
The test session can be as short as three hours (a full morning) or
as long as six hours (a morning and an afternoon) so plan your day accordingly.
Note:
The Test Centre has a policy of zero-tolerance for cheating. Anyone
found cheating will be asked to leave the testing room and their tests will be invalidated.

First time charge for test battery: $40.00
