Volunteering in the community is a great way to enhance educational, personal, and professional development.  Working as a volunteer can help you to gain experience, add new skills, and develop professional contacts.

Recognizing the need to connect students, staff, and faculty with volunteer opportunities, Algonquin College has established The Volunteer Centre: room C226.  Drop by the centre to view the resources, meet with staff from Student Employment Services, and to discuss ways that volunteering can benefit you, your career, and your community.
