Psychic Dan Valkos harnesses the power of his crystal.

Psychic Dan Valkos shed light on the future at the Observatory for a two-hour forum on Jan. 31.

With a steady line-up of eager students, Valkos answered their questions about the future.

Jennifer Anthony, first-year interior decorating student, was the first client to hear her future. She asked about love and career success.

“He seemed to know my personality right away,” said Anthony. “He said certain things about my personal life - he just seemed to know.”

Valkos, 55, has been an active psychic for over 35 years. He began as a skeptic in 1969, but within two years he developed his psychic ability.

“I thought everything was garbage,” said Valkos. “I was proven wrong.”

Since the early 70s, Valkos has called himself a “clairvoyant and controlled precognitive”.

“I tune into people by their voices,” said Valkos. “That is how the radio show works.”

Valkos is a well known radio psychic with a Sunday night show in Thunder Bay. He also has a cable show on Rogers in southern Ontario.

“I’m like a roadmap,” said Valkos. “People want hope, insight, guidance and direction, people want to find out about their future.”

As a psychic it is important not to take yourself too seriously, Valkos noted. The things a psychic can sense can be life changing for a client.

“No psychic is 100 per cent accurate,” said Valkos. There is a chance that a psychic could be wrong, he said, but if future, tragic events are sensed a psychic should tell the truth.

“I won’t lie,” said Valkos. “But I’ll put it in a positive way.”

Valkos is also a published author with three books under his belt. The psychic world and how you can be a part of it, The psychic world of your dreams, and The psychic world of karma and reincarnation.

With a radio show on Rogers, multiple published books and a vibrant college tour, Valkos keeps busy as “Canada’s most sarcastic psychic.”
