Classrooms not safe for MP3 players
“A student reported that she had left her MP3 player in an H-Building classroom when the class went for break,” said security supervisor Rick Guthrie. “When she returned from break, her MP3 player was gone.”
The incident occurred in the early afternoon of Nov. 20.
Don’t fall asleep studying
A student woke up on Nov. 19 to find his wallet which contained $115 and personal identification cards had been stolen. The male fell asleep in the study table area on the second floor of C-Building, said Guthrie.A black Samsung cell phone was also stolen from the student’s bag. The incident has been reported to the Ottawa police.
Locker thefts continue
A laptop computer and a wallet have been stolen from lockers in H-Building and F-Building on Nov. 17 and 18 in two separate incidents.Both thefts have been reported to the Ottawa police.
Rock thrown through car window
A beige Chrysler 300 car had a rock thrown through its rear window sometime between late in the evening on Nov. 14 and early afternoon on Nov. 15.
“A visitor to the residence reported that his vehicle had been vandalised,” said Guthrie. The incident happened in Lot 11 and has been reported to the Ottawa police.
