Algonquin to reduce, reuse, recycle
Through many initiatives and efforts, Algonquin is following the green movement and taking up the recycling challenge.
Algonquin contributes to environmental sustainability in several ways. The college has participated in this and last year’s Earth Hour, implemented a battery recycling program, and planted 40 trees on Earth Day 2008. Read more.
It's not that easy being green
In 2008, the college went through a whopping 2.5 million pounds of waste - only 25 per cent of which was diverted for recycling.
