Meet with the Harm Reduction Consultant to get the information you need for yourself or someone else in your life. This is a personalized, non-judgmental, and compassionate meeting to help you understand substance use, learn how to reduce risks, and map out possible next steps.

How to book

  • Contact Health Services reception (visit Room C141 or call 613.727.4723 ext. 7222)
  • Ask your Algonquin College counsellor to set up a session
  • For students living in Residence: Ask a RA, RLC, or CA you are most comfortable with to set up a session for you.

WEBSITE! Blood Alcohol Content is calculated by determining how many milligrams of alcohol are present in 100 millilitres of blood. In computing these BAC charts, a drink is defined as follows: – Beer 341 mL (12 oz.) 5% alcohol content
– Cider/Cooler 341 mL (12 oz.) 5% alcohol content
– Wine 142 mL (5 oz.) 12% alcohol content
– Distilled Alcohol (rye, gin, rum, etc.) 43 mL (1.5 oz.) 40% alcohol content
