Focus Groups

Our student focus groups are conducted with students in an unbiased and safe environment. We can explore and uncover student concerns, perceptions, and reactions to change by engaging with students. They provide an opportunity to engage and have your say beyond the confines of a survey, and they can help:

• provide more information on common themes we observe in surveys;
• with internal research studies aimed at improving student experience(s);

Spring 2023 Focus Groups (Closed)

We invite you to participate in our upcoming focus group, looking at your perspectives on students’ sense of support and well-being and what improvements can be made to help you feel supported while attending Algonquin College.

Each focus group will consist of 8-12 students, such as yourself, and run for approximately 90 minutes. The focus group sessions will be scheduled during the week of July 17th. Your responses will be confidential and anonymized for analysis if shared in any reports.

If you are interested, please follow the link below. You will be asked to respond to a few questions and be able to indicate your preferred time of participation. As a thank you for your time, you will receive $25 gift cards after participating (gift card selection list to be provided).
