Algonquin College students part of winning team at this year’s Ottawa Eco-Logical Competition

A group of Algonquin College students participated in this year’s Ottawa Eco-Logical Competition held over the March 2-4th weekend. Algonquin had a total
of 10 students participating, split among six teams. Manuel Guillen from the Green Architecture Graduate Certificate program, Ramon Renderos and Michelle Bondarchuk both from the Achitectural Technician program were all members of the first place team. This three-day weekend event engages post-secondary students and young building professionals in developing innovative, integrated building designs aimed to influence and inspire industry, government, and the public. Students from several post-secondary schools and disciplines compete in teams, guided by young environmental and building professionals, to develop new design ideas for a real client.
Congratulations to all the students for a job well done. For more informaiton on this exciting competition please visit the Ottawa Eco-Logical Competition website here.
