Established in 1996 during the Web’s infancy, The Webbys is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)—a 2000+ member judging body. The Academy is comprised of Executive Members—leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities—and Associate Members who are former Webby Winners, Nominees and other Internet professionals.

Algonquin Wins Prestigious Advertising Award

2016 ViewbookAlgonquin College was recently declared a Bronze Winner at the 2015 Collegiate Advertising Awards. The College’s winning entry was the 2015 Algonquin College Viewbook.

The annual Viewbook is produced by the College’s Marketing and Recruitment Team.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards honour excellence in marketing and advertising, specifically within the field of higher education. This elite national program is broken into more than 40 categories—from billboard design and direct mail to radio ads and beyond.

Entries are evaluated in relation to similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories. A panel of industry experts reviews and judges each entry, scoring based on their creativity, design, production, and overall effectiveness.

Twenty-Ninth Annual Educational Advertising Awards Winners Announced

EduAdAwardsWinners have been announced in the Twenty-Ninth Annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the United States. This year, nearly 2,000 entries were received from over one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.
