Algonquin College is home to several simulated healthcare learning spaces, including the Healthcare Simulation Centre, the Health Sciences Lab, and others. These laboratories are equipped with high-tech medical equipment, bedside stations, and realistic manikins that respond to a variety of clinical scenarios.

Algonquin College’s simulation labs play a vital role in the academic journey of Nursing students. Simulation-based education complements classroom learning and helps students develop hands-on, technology-enabled clinical skills. This empowers students to solve problems under pressure and prepares them to excel in real-world environments.

The Nursing Simulation Fund has been established to support immersive nursing simulation scenarios and program development at Algonquin College. Contributions to this fund help the College maintain and enhance its simulation labs, ensuring that the next generation of nurses can be trained with the latest technology and according to the field’s best practices.
