The Jamie Bramburger Memorial Fund
Jamie Bramburger was a long-time Manager of Community and Student Affairs and Interim Dean of Algonquin College’s Pembroke waterfront campus. Jamie’s tireless advocacy for education in Renfrew County touched countless lives and left a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Brian White Memorial Award for Athletic Achievement
Brian White was a much loved and respected, long-time Coach for Algonquin Thunder Women’s Basketball and a former Thunder player himself. The player who wins this award demonstrates the qualities that Brian, known to so many as simply “Coach”, valued in a player.
Susan was a talented Event Manager at Algonquin College within the President’s Office, Communications and Public Relations. Susan loved high energy events and worked tirelessly to maintain a high standard of excellence. On a personal note, she loved dogs, the outdoors and was passionate about fitness and nutrition.
Gay Cook was a beloved figure in the Canadian food industry, known for her boundless enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for sharing knowledge. Her contributions to Algonquin College’s School of Hospitality and Tourism inspired generations of culinary students. Gay was not only a skilled chef but a mentor, leader, and advocate for inclusivity, always encouraging collaboration and the sharing of knowledge.

The Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence
In memory of the late Ronald Saumure, a beloved family man and community pillar, we proudly announce the launch of the Ronald Saumure Award of Excellence. Ronald was a dedicated alumnus of Algonquin College’s Architectural Technology program, known for his unwavering commitment to education and his desire to make the world a better place for everyone around him.

William Bernard Memorial Award
This award has been established in honour of William and his passion for flying to help future pilots make their dreams come true. Throughout William’s young life, he would be the first to support anyone in need, in anyway he could.

Leo Valiquette Memorial Scholarship
Leo Valiquette was a talented reporter, editor, marketer and fiction author who left this mark on Ottawa and, in the process, established many friendships. His family and friends are asking for donations to be made in Leo’s name to help future Algonquin Journalism students.
