The Bruce Campbell Police Foundations Bursary

Bruce Campbell was an instructor at Algonquin College who was passionate about post-secondary education and creating opportunities for students in law enforcement. A former Sergeant Major with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Unit, as well as an advocate for traffic safety, Bruce was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and his courageous battle ended in October 2019. Bruce will be remembered as an active community member who valued education, safety, and helping others.

As a tribute to Bruce and his impact on all those around him, friends and colleagues of Bruce created the Bruce Campbell Police Foundations Bursary. In conjunction with this Bursary, the first annual Bruce Campbell Memorial Golf Tournament, will take place on September 21, 2020 at the Marshes Golf Club. The day will be dedicated to celebrating Bruce and raising funds for the Bursary.
