That’s why, starting Fall 2027, all Business diploma programs at Algonquin College will start with a shared first-year experience that gives you the flexibility to explore your options before deciding where you want to focus.

Your first year introduces you to a variety of business subjects, including Marketing, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Communications, Professional and Workplace Skills.
This gives you the chance to discover what interests you most before committing to a specific specialization.
Earn a Recognized Credential
As you complete your first year, you’ll earn an Ontario College Certificate that recognizes your business knowledge and post-secondary achievement.

Once you’ve completed your first year, you may continue into the Business Diploma that best matches your goals and interests. We offer everything from Accounting to Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to Agriculture, as well as Management and Entrepreneurship.
