Can I take the program online?
You can take the program full-time or part-time through AC Online.

When can I start?
The program offers continuous intakes, so you can start in the Fall, Spring, or Winter semesters.

How is the program structured?
Students who start in January complete the 2-year diploma in 16 months by studying in four continuous semesters from January to April with no summer break. Students who start in September follow the traditional structure: two semesters, summer break, followed by two semesters.

How do I know if I am a good fit for this program?
If you like working with people, want to run your own business, have entrepreneurial ambitions, or are interested in business in any way, this program is for you.

What college programs does this program qualify me to apply for?
It qualifies you to apply to many Algonquin programs including Business Administration, and Business – Marketing in the School of Business and Hospitality.

Will taking this program help me with acceptance into other college programs, outside of the School of Business and Hospitality?
Multiple courses are transferable. For example, the math courses give you the math pre-requisite required for a number of School of Advanced Technology programs.

Will I need to purchase a computer or specialized software for this program?
As a student in this on-campus program, you will require a mobile computing device as this is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. You will be required to have a mobile computing device meeting specifications outlined by your program at algonquincollege.com/byod.

Do I get a break during this program?
All full-time students in the program get a scheduled break between Levels 2 and 3.

Do I need to take electives in this program?
Yes. You will choose an elective during Levels 2, 3, and 4.
