International Business Management Students connect with industry at American Chamber Breakfast

Norman Hotchkiss, program coordinator for International Business Management, and nineteen of his students attended the American Chamber Commerce Breakfast Meeting “Perpesctives on the Canada-US Partnership” on October 12.

Over 100 industry and government people were in attendance to hear the American Ambassador to Canada, David Jacobson, and the Canadian Ambassador in Washington, Garry Doer speak about the relationship between our two countries.

Norm and he IBM program were introduced in the remarks made by the Head of the Chamber and students enjoyed the opportunity to network with many prospective employers.

“I got a lot of requests for information about my program and the other School of Business Graduate Certificates,” says Norm. “And several of my students were still in deep discussions about employment opportunities long after the meeting had ended.”
