“I was fortunate enough to have gained a number of years of work experience before joining the 2 year Business Marketing program at Algonquin. However, after the first semester, I realized I was lacking some serious fundamental knowledge. Some of the things I learned that I currently use at work daily and have, without a doubt, made me more successful are: effective communication methods, how to break down a high level task into manageable components, comfort with numbers and spreadsheets, how to build and conduct an effective presentation/meeting, and the importance of networking. The profs. were kind and always took the time to provide extra guidance when asked. I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to pursue a career in marketing.”
