Business Administration – Core
You initially apply to Business Administration – Core. It is during these first three semesters that you learn the fundamentals of business.
Choose from one of seven Business Administration Majors
Once you select your major, you’ll be fully immersed in that field for your remaining three semesters. You’ll develop the skills and abilities expected of professionals in your industry and explore different jobs within your area of study to see what you are best suited for.

- Business Administration – Marketing
- Business Administration – Supply Chain and Operations Management (co-op option)
Real-world experience
Every major includes a variety of applied learning experiences, including case studies, working with live clients, group work, presentations, and major projects. Co-op work terms are offered to qualified students in International Business and Supply Chain & Operations Management majors. There are also work placement opportunities in the Human Resources major.
Professional designations and degree pathways
The Business Administration program can put you on the path towards respected professional designations in Accounting, Finance, International Business, and Supply Chain & Operations Management. (Designations may require work experience and/or additional education.) You can also turn your diploma into a degree. You can continue your studies at Algonquin College and earn a Bachelor of Commerce from Nipissing University through our partnership program. Or, use one of Algonquin College’s credit transfer agreements to earn your degree at another institution.
