Mobile Device – Interactive Media Design
For the Interactive Media Design program you may supply either a Mac or Windows based laptop. The following are recommendations only, however the laptop you supply must meet the requirements to run the Adobe CC Master Collection – listed at: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.html#requirements
Note: Netbooks, Tablets, or MacBook Airs are not acceptable as laptop substitutes for this program.
Also note that you must be experienced, comfortable and organized with the operating system you select. It is also your responsibility for the upkeep of your computer and software.
Students will be required to purchase either a Windows or OSX laptop with these minimum specs:
- Intel Core i7 processor
- 16GB RAM
- 500GB SSD or HDD internal storage
- 13” screen (larger preferred)
- External storage device of 1TB or larger
- For Windows devices: Windows 10 (Home, Educational, or Pro versions). Note: Windows 10S is not recommended for use at Algonquin College.
