PC Windows Laptop – Custom Model is required for your program

Device Requirements for the following programs:

  1. Mechanical Engineering Technology
  2. Electromechanical Engineering Technician
  3. Manufacturing Engineering Technician
  4. Bachelor of Automation and Robotics

Type of work Advanced 3D and Multiaxis milling, Mill-Turn, GPU simulation, Machine simulation.

Program specific recommendations are highlighted with **

  • Processor: Intel i7 or i9 or later, 3.2GHz or faster **
  • Memory: 32 GB or more of RAM
  • Video: No onboard graphics; NVIDIA Quadro® or AMD FirePro™ / Radeon Pro card with 4 GB (6GB or higher recommended) dedicated memory **
    • For the full effects of GPU simulation, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT with 12 GB or higher is recommended to provide the best performance
  • Hard drive: 500GB or larger SSD Hard Drive with at least 20GB free**
  • External USB Drive: Kingston brand is recommended
  • Screen: 1920 * 1080 resolution, dual monitors recommended
  • 1 full size USB port
  • USB and/or DVD drive (depending on installation media and licensing method)
  • Wireless 802.11ac
  • Windows 11 64-bit Professional
