A Key Operator is a staff member who assists in the support and operation of the College fleet printer in their office or area.

A Key Operator is the person in the office who:

  • Refills the paper whenever it runs out and orders more.
  • Replaces the toners and waste bottle when prompted to by the device.
  • Orders and replaces the staple cartridge.
  • Clears paper jams when they occur.
  • Contacts ITS Helpdesk whenever an issue is more than can be reasonably, or safely, resolved on their own.

Contact ITS Helpdesk if an error on the printer is more than you can reasonably, or safely, resolve on your own. Be sure to include the printer's location ID and a brief description of the problem.
