Algonquin College Health Services Booking Vaccine Appointments

Algonquin College Health Services is now booking appointments by phone to administer COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) to students and employees at the Ottawa campus.

All vaccinations completed on campus will be recorded into the Province of Ontario’s COVAX Vaccination Management System. The vaccination program is available to students and employees.

As per Ottawa Public Health directive, the adult Pfizer vaccine is restricted to people in the 12-29 years of age group. Everyone who is 30 years of age or older will be offered Moderna.

Access to campus for booked vaccination appointments

The vaccine clinic will be held in the old gymnasium in A building and must be accessed via the exterior doors of the gym.

The clinic cannot be accessed through campus indoors. Participants will be asked to show ID and complete the COVID-19 self-assessment screener.

In order to receive a vaccination at the College:

You must be registered as a patient with Health Services. If you have not yet registered as a patient at Algonquin College Health Services, please complete your registration at this link. Once your registration form is complete, please e-mail it to healthservices@algonquincollege.com. You will receive an email confirming that you have been entered into the system, at which time you may call to make an appointment for your vaccine.

If you received any doses of COVID-19 vaccine outside of Ontario, you must connect with your local health unit. They will assist to have your doses recorded in the Ontario provincial system. This must be completed before you can obtain any vaccine through AC Health Services. Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. Those registered with Health Services can call the clinic at 613-727-4723 ext.7222 to book an appointment.

The ability for Health Services to administer vaccines is entirely dependent on the direction of Ottawa Public Health.   • The clinic will be held in the old gymnasium in A building and must be accessed via the exterior doors of the gym.
  • Algonquin College’s vaccination program is open to students and employees only.
  • For first, second and third doses (boosters) of Pfizer (for 12-29 years) and Moderna (for 30+ years) mRNA vaccine only.
  • All previous doses must be registered with Ontario’s provincial system.
  • You must first be registered with Health Services in order to book an appointment.
  • Walk-ins will not be permitted.
  • Appointments can only be booked by calling Health Services at 613-727-4723 ext.7222.
  • To avoid congestion, please do not arrive for your appointment more than 5-10 minutes early.
  • Upon arrival for your vaccination appointment please check-in with Health Services.
