Q: What resources are available to help students transition to online learning?

Q: Will my courses moving online affect my post-graduation work permit eligibility?

 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that, for  International students in Canada, courses of study being delivered online on an exceptional basis due to #COVID19 will not affect Post-Graduation Work Permit Program eligibility for a post-graduation work permit.

Q: Who can international students contact if they have a question?

International students who have questions or concerns on their long term study plans at Algonquin College or require more information on their health plan can contact the International Education Center Support at iecsupport@algonquincollege.com.  We will answer your email within 2 days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Q: Are Residence services still available?

Q: I am an international student who works part-time for the Student Association (SA). Will I receive my pay?

Current part-time Student Association (SA) employees will receive compensation until the end of April 5, 2020 based on their average hours worked.

Q: I am an international student and I work part-time for College. As the college has moved services online, I currently do not have any hours.  Will I receive my pay?

Current part-time college employees will receive compensation until the end of their contract.
