Campus Tour Details

What You Can Expect

This is a general tour of the Ottawa Campus. During the tour you will visit the major common areas of the campus such as:

  • Registrar’s Office
  • Library
  • Jack Doyle Athletic and Recreation Centre
  • Student Commons
  • Student Support Services
  • Campus Bookstore
  • Food Services

Your tour guide will point out areas of interest which pertain to your program of student including program labs. Note that labs and classrooms may not be available for viewing.

Please note: 

  • Residence tours are not available at this time. Please take a virtual tour instead.

Campus Tour Information and Tips

This is a general walking tour of the Ottawa Campus. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Tours depart promptly at the scheduled time.

  • Tours start in the lobby of Building C – DARE District
  • Tours take approximately one and half hours to complete
  • Elevators and ramps are available
  • Tours involve a lot of walking so we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes

Parking

Complimentary parking is available in Lot P7 – Visitors Parking. Please take a ticket to gain entrance to the gated lot. Upon check-in, your tour guide will provide you with a validated parking pass to exit the lot free of charge. We are unable to reimburse guests for parking in other lots on campus.

*Please note that all parking on campus requires payment and you are responsible for payment and selecting the proper amount of time. Parking tickets cannot be reimbursed by the college.

If you are unable to make your scheduled tour, we ask that you please provide a cancellation notice 24 hours before your tour start time by emailing tours@algonquincollege.com

  • Tours take approximately one and a half hours.

Are family or friends allowed to attend the tour with me?

  • Yes, please register all guests for the tour.

Can we see inside labs on the tour?

  • Viewing of labs and classrooms is based on availability.

Is there a cost to park while attending a tour?

  • Parking is available in Lot P7 – Visitors Parking.  Our tour guide will provide you with a validated parking pass at the start of the tour so you can exit the lot free of charge.

Can we see a room in Residence on the tour? 

  • Viewing is residence is based on availability.

Can I leave the tour before it ends?

  • Yes, if you wish to leave the tour, simply let your tour guide know that you are leaving. They will direct you back to Lot P7 – Visitor Parking Lot or the transit station before continuing the tour.

Are animals allowed?

  • Only service animals are permitted on campus tours.
