Pets for Adoption

About Our Pets

Updated: April 14 2026

We have 3 days left to find our 7 lovely kitties homes.

Our pets that we do not adopt out this will be available for adoption at the SPCA de L’Outaouais after they are picked up on Friday afternoon. If you did not have opportunity to come and adopt them from us please do go out to the SPCA to apply to adopt them there !!

With the guidance of our excellent facility veterinarians and our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants, all of our pets are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated here at the college.

If you adopt one of our animals, you will also receive an adoption kit containing food, toys as well as their medical records including vaccine certificates and sterilization certificate and if pertinent dental records.

The adoption fee is then sent to the SPCA to continue to support the running of the shelter. We are a teaching facility committed to supporting the community and its stray and needy animals. We’re very happy to be able to offer these ready to adopt forever furry friends!

Please contact Emma Slater at slatere@algonquincollege.com or at 613-727-4723 Ext 7201

We thank the SPCA de L’ Outaouais for allowing us to care for their cats and dogs at our facility here at V Building at the Woodroffe Campus.
