Ottawa South MPP John Fraser is our second Future of Health Care speaker. John was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2013 as the MPP for Ottawa South. He currently serves as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, focusing on health.
Fraser is a life-long resident of Ottawa. He was born and raised in Elmvale Acres and Alta Vista, and has been an active volunteer in a number of local organizations and initiatives. He spearheaded the “Our Children, Our Hospital” campaign to save the Cardiac Care Unit at CHEO (the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) and organized a fundraiser for the Heron Road Emergency Food Bank.
Fraser will be joining us to discuss the Ministry’s support for the development of a comprehensive strategy on palliative and end-of-life care that ensures all patients across the sector have access to end-of-life and palliative care.. Hope to see you there! Please stay tuned for the link to RSVP.
