Business International Travel Update (Guard.Me)

Are you travelling internationally? If so, please remember that there is a difference between your personal international travel, and your business international travel.

If you are travelling internationally for personal reasons, you are covered under your Sun Life benefits. See our website where there is a link to download the travel card to take with you on your trip.

If you are travelling internationally for business, you will need to apply for specialty travel insurance through our guard.me portal. Please note: effective October 1, 2015, guard.me portal has changed providers to AXA assistance. AXA assistance has a broad range of information available through their website. There’s also have a new mobile app you can upload onto your smartphone/tablet. They provide practical information on the country you are visiting, visa requirements, cultural customs, medical resource information and security concerns. It’s a great resource at your fingertips while you travel!
