Meet Hari

Hari is an alumnus of the Algonquin College Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduate certificate program. Originally from the Philippines, he previously completed a Bachelor of Medical Imaging Science before continuing his studies in Canada. Through four clinical placements, he gained a well-rounded skill set that led to a job offer at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), where he now works in Quality Improvement in Radiology. His advice to students: treat every placement like an interview and bring your best self every day.

Tash is Algonquin and Ojibwe from Kitigan Zibi and Grassy Narrows and is studying Digital Marketing Communication (Co-op) (Honours) at Algonquin College. As an entrepreneur, she runs two businesses, FN Clean Water and Indigenous Gifts, and chose Algonquin College to strengthen her marketing skills.

Seanna is a student in the Cabinetmaking and Furniture Technician program at Algonquin College. Her passion for woodworking began in high school, where her teachers encouraged her to apply to Algonquin and nominated her for the Schulich Builders Scholarship.

Mercy is a student of the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program. She had a previous degree in Engineering and wanted to explore something different for her career, so she decided to make a switch to Marketing and found Algonquin College to be the school for her.
