Awards

At this time, Algonquin College does not offer awards or grants that students can apply for independently to fund study abroad, work abroad, or other international mobility experiences. Funding may be available for specific International Education Centre programs, including eligible college-wide short-term study abroad opportunities. Please check this page regularly for updates on future funding opportunities.

You may also wish to explore external funding sources:

• CBIE Scholarships and Awards: Funding opportunities that support Canadian students participating in international learning experiences.
• Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP): Financial assistance that may help eligible students cover education-related costs while studying abroad.
• MyWorldAbroad: A resource for students interested in international experiences, with access to a database of scholarships, grants, bursaries, travel awards, and study abroad planning tools.

Please review eligibility requirements, application processes, and deadlines directly with each funding provider.

For questions about international opportunities, please contact the Go Global with AC team at ac-overseas@algonquincollege.com or book an appointment through our online booking page.
