Algonquin College Agent Training Requirements

Algonquin College provides mandatory Agent Training through its Brightspace learning platform.

At the start of the onboarding process, you will receive an email from noreply@algonquincl.brightspace.com with access to the International Agent Training portal.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the access link is valid for 72 hours, so please ensure that you do log in at least once within this period.

  • Within 72 hours: Login at least once

  • Within 3 months: you or a team member responsible for Canada complete the training

The training takes approximately three (3) hours to complete. You may log in and return to the modules as often as needed during the three‑month access period.

  • Validity 2 years: Upon completion, your Algonquin Agent Certification will remain valid for two years.



Failure to complete the training within the required timeframe will result in termination of the contract.
