In collaboration with the Government of Iraq, Algonquin College hosted 10 visiting Iraqi professors in the month of November to deliver professional development. The Program included workshops delivered through the Centre for Organization and Learning and Applied Research, and in-class and industry visits through the School of Business, and the School of Advanced Technology.

The closing ceremony was attended, from the college, by President Kent MacDonald, Claude Brule, Dr. Mark Hoddenbagh, Rebecca Volk, Dr. Basam Al-Hasoo, and June Rossolatos; and from the Embassy of Iraq, Ambassador Dr. Abdulrahman, Cultural Counselor Dr. Asaad Omran, and Mr. Emad Al Maeeni.

During the ceremony, Claude Brule, VP Academic gave the graduates some remarks followed by the presentation of their Certificates of Completion. Dr. Basam Al-Hasoo, Manager, partnerships and International Programs gave a Thank You speech at the end of the ceremony.
